DAKAR photography aSSISTANT pOSITION

General Information:

Duration: 4 weeks, starting June 2021-July 2021

Location: Based in Dakar, Senegal

Commitment: Available 15-20 hours per week (or 3 days a week)

Compensation: 300,000 CFA a month; paid bi-weekly

Language: Fluent in English, French & Wolof

Qualifications:

Solution driven individual with strong ability to take initiative and high attention to detail.
Ability to stay organized, motivated, and maintain high level of urgency.
Strong familiarity with Spirited Pursuit.com and its related social media platforms.
Knowledge and exposure to IG Reels, Instagram, and TikTok with strong interest in implementing new ideas and creative strategies.
Excellent relationship building and creative skills.
Resourceful and innovative problem-solver with an enthusiastic, fun, go-getter attitude.
Fast learner with ability to quickly adapt to new technology and digital platforms.
Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, and Indesign preferred but not required.
Bonus but not required: prior experience in photography, communications, social media management, or graphic design.

Responsibilities:

Assist with weekly photoshoots in various locations throughout Dakar
Pitch creative ideas for photography, reels, and other video content
Pitch location ideas for photoshoots
Various admin tasks including but not limited to running errands, tracking packages, and other minor tasks.
